In her words, “When I feel the Holy Spirit prompt me with a certain phrase or theme” she says, “then I write a lot about it because it is my way of processing the revelation. The music keeps me in touch with my emotions, the lyrics with my mind and thoughts, and my voice keeps me in touch with my whole person.” Authentic expression is of the utmost importance to Laura as she usually writes all of her own music, but the last few years she has enjoyed co-writing with a dynamic songwriting community led by her husband, Jonas. As a result of the rich songs written together in community, Jonas and Laura have launched a small independent label called, Arrowhead Music.
