ABOUT

A Greater Austin House of Prayer

VISION

We exist to equip the body of Christ to encounter and behold the beauty of Jesus and to proclaim peace in the midst of crisis, restoring hope.

MISSION

Our mission is to train and prepare His Bride to be ready through night and day worship and prayer and fulfilling the great commission.

HPR Core Values

Enjoyable

We believe that prayer and worship are enjoyable and give life.

Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

(Isaiah 56:7)

Simple

We believe the simplicity of our devotion and the simple “yes” in our hearts move the Father’s heart.

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

(2 Corinthians 11:2-3)

Effective

We believe that the prayers of the saints are effective – a pivotal part of God’s government and leadership being established on earth.

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

(James 5:16)

“One thing that I have desired of the Lord, that I will seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”

Psalm 27:4
